Adding new text lines to billable lines or editing text lines

Introduction

This page allows you to add new text lines to billable, intercompany, and credit invoice requests for Time & material projects. You can also modify the existing text lines.

Roles and rights

To view this page, function right 891 - Hour & expense invoicing is required. Users with the Project administration or Project invoicer role have this function right.

How do I add new text lines to billable requests?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, select the Time & material check box at Type, and then define the relevant criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlinked project code under the Project column.
  4. On the selected project page, under the Project monitor section, click Invoice proposals.
  5. Define the relevant criteria, and then click Show.
  6. Click the Add new text line icon under the Actions column.
  7. On the Add new text line page displayed, type the description at Description.
  8. Click Save.

Keep in mind:

  • By default, the Type field is not displayed on the Projects: Search page. To display this field, click Customize at the top right of the same page. Under the Project section, select the Type check box, and then click Save.
  • You can add an unlimited number of text lines to a billable request. The text lines will be displayed below the respective billable request. The descriptions added will always be invoiced together with the billable request that they are linked to. The descriptions will also be exported to Exact Globe Next. If the descriptions are empty, the descriptions exported to Exact Globe Next will also be empty.

How do I edit exiting text lines?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, select the Time & material check box at Type, and then define the relevant criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlinked project code under the Project column.
  4. On the selected project page, under the Project monitor section, click Invoice proposals.
  5. Define the relevant criteria, and then click Show.
  6. Click the Edit icon located next to the text line, under the Actions column.
  7. On the Edit text line page displayed, make the necessary changes.
  8. Click Save.

How do I delete text lines from billable requests?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, select the Time & material check box at Type, and then define the relevant criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlinked project code under the Project column.
  4. On the selected project page, under the Project monitor section, click Invoice proposals.
  5. Define the relevant criteria, and then click Show.
  6. Click the Delete icon under the Actions column.
  7. On the Delete text line page displayed, click OK to confirm the deletion.
